Not sure you understood...I'm in the car (got in on drivers side), but the pass. door is BROKEN. lock does nothing and door handle does nothing.

I've tried to mimick both (using the rods), make the door unlocked and then push the handle rod so the door should open...nothing

I believe something might be bent down there??? I can't really turn the key in the fully unlocked position...gives resistance, the inside door lock seems stubburn too, like it can't move what it needs to be moving.
Ahh, I was just too quick to respond. My bad, I hope you get it done dude.

I appreciate all the help...finally got my door open, using one of my drumsticks between the door panel and door frame reaching down and unlocking the opening mechanism hardware. However the locking cable had a busted plastic housing thing that wouldn't allow the cable to be pulled thru the casing <-- Removed cable, fastened everything back down, works like a charm...

happy to hear your car is finally open..... just wondering, how long were you locked out and was the car on the whole time?

And one time, some douche bag tried to steal fikserxseven's car outside our house with a screw driver. He got it open, but the stock alarm went on.

Well, the car was on AND locked for over an hour (cycling fans as temps reach 226F and back down) The lock smith finally got it open (drivers side) but broken my pass. door. It wasn't until I had time to tinker with the car, that I fixed the pass. door.

I think now that I know how the locking and opening mechanisms work, I think I could get in with a really long flat head.

If your car is running and locked the alarm will not sound if broken into

Haha! I think that's because the car thinks that if it's running and locked, YOU'RE INSIDE!! LMAO! Sweet.
