to jimmy the lock i dont know ive only done it on my truck never attempted on the rx. follow the direction of the glass head down and right undil u hit the little rod going towards the actual locking mechanismm on the door and go jiggle crazy try whatever works.

when you pull the door panel off i bet the lock smith just broke the plasic pice that holds the rod on the lock mech.

Aiight Team...here's the skinny: I believe what tampaFD said is true, however...pulling the panel off will be the hard part, why...because the door is shut and won't unlock inside or out FAWK!!!!



I need advice as to how to open the door, OR pull the panel off with the door shut. I believe the latter is impossible, because of the screws on the bottom of the panel.



Now considering the worst how much does a used black passenger panel go for??? I would definitely hate to just hack that bad boy off, but really can't see how I'm going to open the door

Lay in the drivers side and kick the door open. At least that way you might not have to replace the door panel. Cutting it is a definite replacement job..
