hey guys

I juss picked up 2 FD's today. One has a blown motor and the other one is running. On the running one ive run into a few problems hopefully someone can suggest some common issues or fixes.

The steering wheel shakes alot when hitting bumps. Other Cars ive worked on had worn tie rods and caused this problem, is it common with FDs? I dont believe its a wheel balance issue as it only happens with bumps not increasing with MPH. The car has 108k on it. The odometer juss crapped out on me too when coming home.

Any help is appreciated....thanks

if the steering wheel jumps all over hitting bumps, it needs shocks

isnt bumpsteer when you hit bumps while cornering and the steering wheel wants to do its own thing? correct me if im wrong, oh and the car isnt lowered. i already aligned the car last nite, front had some toe out, fixed that, and had some positive camber, fixed that as well.

Ill check the struts soon....good time to get some coilovers eh? thanks for the suggestions

Check the bushings- That would cause a shaky steering wheel as well
