so i was driving around today and my car was fine. its about 14C outside and all of a sudden my temp gauge starts climbing rapidly. i wasnt doing any hard driving at all. so i pulled over shut it off and popped the hood. to my surprise it wasnt very hot at all. i touched the manifold and it was warm. and there wasnt any extreme heat radiating from anywhere. started it up. temp guage went back to normal and i drove home. i just had the coolant flushed, and i have a 3" straight through exhaust starting at the stock downpipe if that helps.
