Thumbs up

Hey guys I does anyone know what is better, a stock mount or a front mount intercooler. I know with the FMIC the tubing is longer. With that create turbo lag? How much of a difference will I notice when i change the IC. IF anone had pics with the intercoolers installed i would love to see them. I ahve been looking at the Blitz od HKS FMIC's. Should I go FMIC?

I have the Apex'i GT. It's huge, flows great, and unline most of the pthers you don't have to remove the front bumper to install

You should probably do a search on SMIC/FMIC's to really understand the pros/cons of each.

I general FMIC looks cooler but can create more problems, meaning you are taking the cold air for the IC and now hotter air is blowing on your radiator. So if you think about it, your engine can be running hotter and you are stuff more HP into it. Although many claim a bigger/better radaitor can address that.

I'm going V mounted, w/ a vented hood.
