Which Intercooler?

The smic is the way to go.

There is alot of crap work involved in the front mounts.

The stock mounts alow the engine to cool more.



Remeber that the radiator and the oil coolers have the job of keeping the engine cool.

If you block it with a front mount you are not getting optimal airflow.



I know that tons of guys use front mounts without any problems.

But I personally would rather follow the basic physics of of it and save myself the hassle of

mount up a FMIC. They look a little neater but that is about the only advantage of them that I can see.

If that is an advantage.

The intake charge temps are gonna be about the same with a FMIC and a SMIC that has proper ducting to the core.



If you really want to drop temps up grade the oil coolers and install an upgraded Stock mount radiator and plug all the holes that air could escape from as opposed to being forced through the radiator. The more over and through the radiator the better off your gonna be.



But get whatever floats your boat.
