does your oil have a scent of fuel? first time i really smelled my oil today, changed it @ ~1800 miles and it had the faint smell of gas? what gives? is my super-combobulater off center??? someone tell me if they notice the same.....

can you see the fuel when you change your engine oil? If no, then your good. If you can see it...well that's bad.

Yeah I get that smell too. Does it have something to do with the engine oil mixing with your fuel? Or did I miss somethin?

No because once the oil goes into the fuel, it stays there.

Lou as far as I know all FD's do it. Mine has always done it. And so have all of my friends... As far as explanation goes... I'm WAY too stupid to try to even fudge that one!
