The Rotary gods have said I need better ignition...forum masters

well what do I need to get to upgrade my lowly stock ignition into one capable of handling the 400rhp??? also what plugs should I run???

I mostly do street racing and my car is a daily driver...thanks

Bur9EQ...the stock trailing X 4. IMHO, 10's and 11's are too cold, unless your doing circuit racing.



Really you'll need to get some type of ignition Amp and aftermarket leading coils. I run a twin power, Cosmo 13B trailing coils and some snazzy dazzy AE86 leading coil.

I'm planning on using a MSD 6A just for the leadings. What do you guys think?



I heard the leadings are all that really matter anyways so no point paying $400 for the Twin Power.



MSD 6A can be had for less than $100.

my mechanic says there is only one plug for the FD...

can you guys give me the complete part #s

and who makes it???

thanks jspec etal.

so lets say I have 500$american or so to spend...what is the best set up for killer spark???

Any dual post coil should work fine for your leadings. Get something that can fire it(MSD 6A I think will work) and have good plug wires. Also the Jacobs unit kicks ***, but you really need good coils to run it.

HKS Twin Power w/ Harness

NGK BUR9EQ Plugs X 4

NGK Plug Wires



Should be able to get everything shipped to you, right at your budget and not have to worry about it ever again
