ok.. most of u dont know the original story if u didnt read my first post on breaking my car.. so i took the 7 out to the track about 6 months ago right...less than that.. nah 6 months.. i launched and destroyed some differential gears...source of the problem diagnosed bushing and differential...new tokico gas illumina shocks..h&r springs...stiff diff bushings and trailing arms for better launcher i figured she was ready to go back on the track.. with my brand new 255 mickey thompson ET's... last time i broke my car on the very first freakin run down.. so i said man im gonna baby the chit out of her and just get her down the track onc.e. good warmup etc...ran stock boost.. no launching.. 13.77 @ 106 lol...get back and after the crowd of rotary fans looking at me funny i decided ok time to show what she can doo..crank the boost up to about 16lbs...normal..drop tire pressure to 15lbs.. normal for drag...and decided to launch the **** out of my newly put together suspension and see what mean time she could put down...i shot off the line so beautifully...ran 1st gear out pretty strong..completely took off on the guy i was racing.. hit second.. and floored it.. not even 1/2 way into second poof black smoke out of exhaust and smell of fuel inside my car..i let off the gas...with anger coming to my mind my car turned off at the end of the track i sprung a horrible fuel leak...i get her cranked and drive into the pits area...leaking gallon by gallon i park.. my buddy runs up and said dude wtf happened i saw u hiting ur brakes and stopped running...i told him about the fuel...he laughs and said dude u freaking still ran a 13.3 lololol i was completely expecting a sub 12.2 ihgh 11s performance out of her and this showed me i was pretty damn close if not perfectly on the money.. i cruised through half the quarter mile almost and stilll beat the guy i raced lol...and beat a 2006 z06's time later that night... soo anyways im pretty pissed about my car and about ruining a good run..i come to find out ... my fuel rail bolt was lose andran lean as fudge.. lets hope i didnt bend or mess up my apex seal... not cooll... not my fault.. why one arth my mechanic didnt tighten this thing down is beyond me...i had a 13b promechanic driver look at it and fix it so i could drive her home.. he said completely mechanic error.. but nice semi run lol..anyonehave any suggestions on what to do next other than strangle my mechanic?? im a lil pissed about my car AGAINNNN.. i just want one clean pass... 2 times out 2 times broken car?????

If I were your English Professor I would have failed you. You may know how to form a legible post but you sure aren't showing it here.

In regards to your mention of a fuel leak I agree with Martin. If you were leaking fuel you should have left the car off until you got that buttoned up. In any case I would not worry about "killing" your mechanic over a loose fuel rail. For all you know the bolt was cross threaded from before he got his hands on it and the bolt snapped off etc. The point is your racing the car. Racing= breaking parts. Everyone with a brain that goes to the track knows this. Besides if you did have a sudden drop in fuel pressure at WOT you would have most likely blown your motor.

Anyhow I am with Phil on this. What is your question?
