Just chill out guys, everyone ***** up sometimes, and we all know the luck / temper of the rotary engine and its 3rd gen body. Sometimes it no ones fault but just dumb fucing luck.

you are damned if you do and damned if you don't!!!

It's so easy to call things from the sidelines after the fact isn't it?

That, and hindsight is always 20-20, but none of these things help toward making this car blast down the street now

big goals... little funds.... what can i say...

What can you say? Many curse words.

Big Goals = Awesome!

Little Funds =

Result = Your threads about your car.

I know about these ambitions and funds, and how things turn out. I have been put in some bad situations before as well. But Vosko made a good point; the car will never be perfect. It is about achieving your performance goals and minimizing the down time. At some point, you will be sacrificing one for the other. Just make sure you are aware of which side of the teeter-totter you are on.

With that said, sorry for all the crap you have been through! I know what it is like to have your car be broke!

My shop was at fault for much of the problems Martin and Dave had - but I'm sure we've all read those threads. I've done my best to fix what I can with money out of my own pocket. I don't work at my shop but a few hours here and there.. as I'm a government contractor full time+. I'm just an investor, but I felt ultra shitty when they received turbo kits that just didn't work.. I'm not sure where all the disconnects happened, but all issues have since been addressed. I just sent Dave's DP back, hopefully in perfect order so he can finish his car..

Ron, Don and Mark (other 3 owners) are really good guys - I just think we got in a little deep with putting together kits..on top of opening a full custom chassis shop and collision center. Lots of stuff didn't work as anticipated; and I did some poor advertising using pics of my kit that had some different parts. I didn't know that, but regardless.. I should have checked up on it.

The Rotary community is very important to me. I learned everything I know from this forum. Hopefully everything irons out and I can meet and shake hands with some of you in the future.

Really it's no sweat man. I'm selling my **** and getting a 34 Ford. Where the only rotary thing I will need is a window roller..

Seriously though I don't want to get off topic as this is about Camel and Martins car. I think that you have done all you can Justin. You never told me to **** off and that's good enough for me. You offered to correct the problems as they arose. I think that the kit was not the best but i knew that going into it. The only major thing that bummed me out was the wastegate. The downpipe was just lazyness on the part of the original fabricator. It should have been made with the flange and test fitted the first time. No biggie now that its done. (Still waiting on a new V band though) Other than that I my car is fine and will be sitting at PFS getting tuned for some spring time fun very soon. If that doesn't work out.. I am selling all my rotary stuff and buying a GTM 200 or that 34 Ford.
