Fellas need some help..



I am about to buy some used twin turbos and make them

Nonsequential...



BUT, how do you know/can tell what kind of shape the

turbos are in?? What do you look for?? any tell tail signs??

Any help or input will be appreciated..

Shaft play front to back, side to side. Are there any visial signs of broken/chipped fins?

 

check for cracks in the manifolds

 

also spin the compressor shaft it should spin pretty easily
