How To Drop The Weight
#14
Get rid of the bose system if you've got it, better off with something else anyways. AC, power steering, and such. You know the things I'm keeping. I enjoy cruising so the stereo and the AC stays. I already have an old CRX without power steering and it sucks at low speeds so that's staying too. I'd say the average person could learn to race properly and shave more time off their 1/4 mile time than dumping 50lbs off the car.

Yea the exhaust is the best way. The precat alone is 40 lbs and is replaced with a 10 lb pipe.
Along with the exhaust I did got a prostart P51 battery, its only 25 lbs vs factory 40 lbs, I ditched the spare tire and opened my touring to be R1 style (removed the cargo cover and the hatch seperator piece)
I weighed in at 2712 with 1/4 tank of gas. That includes an extra set of carpet installed (dont ask).

Yea i allready have a full exhaust system. So i'v lost that weight all ready. Damn seems FD's are light *** cars too hard to consider droping the weight to the point where it would help much.
