I'm assuming you are syaing that its too hard to turn the key???

If so then you need to squirt some silicone lube in the keyhole, and if you feel like it take the door panel off and spray all the linkages.

There is no way to adjust the tension.

If on the otherhand, something is moving too freely, then either a bushing is worn or broken, or something needs to be tightened

well it's the tension in the lock on the inside, like pushing and pulling the little handle for the door lock. I remember when they were installing my alarm they were adjusting something that controlled how hard it was to unlock and lock the door from the inside. I thought it was a screw or something like that. Thanks for the response jay.

Ok since you had an alarm put in I'm assuming they put an actuator in th door so you can lock/unlock the doors with the remote. The FD stock has no power lock on the drivers side, you have to add one for an alarm. So that being said I don't recall those solinoids having an adjustment for tension, the bracket it mounts to may have an adjustment. If it's getting really hard to move the lever then that soilinoid may be going bad.
