Anyone have the offset for the FD vs the Supra. Reason being is that my friend gave me aftermarket rims for my car and they rub only when I turn a corner. Just want to compare offsets and see if maybe I can buy a spacer and where.

Thanks for the help

Thanks man,

Do you think getting a spacer and thinner tires would somewhat work?

Im thinking of going from 235/40's to 215/30's in the meantime until maybe I get 17" wheels.

I assume that only the front tires rub? if so where does the rubbing take place? tire to suspention, tire to body? wheel to suspention, wheel to body?

Tire to body when I turn all the way right or all the way left.

Be careful if you are putting smaller tires on wide rims. You dont want the rim to extrude beyond the sideall of the tire.

I beleive they're 18x9's. Sorry if I sound stupid with these questions but I really know nothing when it comes to rims, offsets etc...

I just know the basics in sizes.

well it sounds like the tire is too wide, or too tall, or maybe both. Just be careful, as mentioned above rims are designed for a certain range of tire sizes.
