right now i own a 69 firebird with a 468 in it. it just keeps giving me prblems. would like either a RX-7 or a supra. But im leaning to the rx-7. Can i get a descent rx-7 third gen TT manul for 12,500? is this feasible. Is the RX-7 a reliable car? how does the rotary engine hold up? ae thy asy to work on? How much hp shuld i expect frm TT car?

Thanks, MIKE

a good one for $12k is being very optimistic..... it all depends how lucky your are and how well the car was treated. these cars are very high maintenance.... if your looking for very reliable go for a supra but you will pay alot more

if u can take car of a 69 firebird, i think u'd be able to care for a 7. just needs tender love and care. for 12,500 i doubt u'd find a decent one. my buddy lucked out on a 93 w/ 65,000 miles last month for 15,000 and the car was never raced and it was for sale at a dealership. seems the guy who traded it was a 50-60 year old man. (1st owner) even looked it up

12,500 is cheap for a good one. the rotary is easy, but parts can be expensive.

It's not that easy...I want to import my FD into the states SO bad...I'd even turn it into a track car only, but I'm not sure of the steps I'd need to take to get it into the country

What exactly do you need to do? I'd make it into a shop car QUICK...and have a crx b16B daily driver...
