I checked the connection to the map sensor.
seems to be ok.. How do you check to see
if the map sensor is good or not???
Could there be anything else stupid that could be
causing this??

I am sure it is blown, but Would be nice to be positive.
So anyone recommend anything I sh ould do while
the motor is getting rebuilt/Reman??
FYI: I think my turbos crept while I was in 5th gear
passing an idiot. SO if your going like the speedlimit
and need to pass, Downshift. Leaving it in 5th can
be a costly mistake.

reman and sp are different animals. usually, many buy the reman and then let a rotary tuner crack it and port it.
the reman would strictly be a replacement motor....
welcome to the 130K club....i had 129K on mine.....no tuning or safeties taken.....
