i need to wrap some wires along the firewall behind the turbos..can you guys suggest a good tape that can stand up to that heat and is available at most parts store?

my wiring harness is getting eaten away there also. i just put an assload of elctrical tape on it and quick tied its farther away from the turbos.

self sealing silicone tape. Talk to banzaitoyota. There is also some heat shrink materials that are made to withstand high temps. Contact Raychem.

Best way to go would be heat shrink the wiring then cover it in exhaust wrap. This would provide the best heat resistance and would not be very expensive. But it may be a little unsightly.
