Well here goes I just received my car from the body shop from having my hood mazdaspeed replicia hood painted. Anyway I was driving the car and I notice on the left side it flex alot with high speed how do i stop that from happen again? I have seen hood pin but I think it's ugly and I really prefered the hood appereance without hood pins. Has anyone firgure out a way to stop the flexing? Also it only does on the left side and it fit very close to stock. Also can some of u post a picture of some nice hood pins maybe I can change my mine? Thanks khris

If you go fast (100mph+) you will need hood pins.

yes Khris you need hood pins, there is no safe way around it. Get the OMP ones like I have. They don't stick out

I have the same hood, mine doesnt flex enough to get worried about it. I use no hood pins and have taken it well past 150.

You have to make sure that the hood latch on the car side is adjusted all the way down and that the bump stops on the sides are pressing against the hood tightly.

The front of my hood sits about 1/8" lower than the front bumper so a lifting hood isnt an issue with me.

I would get hood pins if mine was lifting but it just isnt necessary if you get the hood on right.
