I'm not sure. Ed Freeman's my dad and he's from Tenn. My mom's maiden name is Dotson and she's from AL. Cosmic. Thanks for the link. (Other fellow)

I have a T88 equipped FD that I drive everyday, no issues whatsoever, the turbo lag issue is greatly exaggerated, I wouldn't worry about it. People get in my car and always comment on how fast the turbo spools. To me this turbo isn't laggy at all, tuning has alot to do with how the turbo responds as well. I mean when I step up to a GT42 turbo then I'll worry about lag, as far as the T88, I wouldn't worry about it, I'll try and contact some of my friends that have been in my car so that they can post and give you their opinions.

I rode in RX794's FD plenty of times. All I can say is that the all to common talk about the greedy t-88 being too laggy of horse ****.. Rx794's FD is not laggy at all, very responcesive and fun being a passeneger in his car.. All i felt was the belt across my chest holding me in the seat from the g-forces.. So if you want to make nice HP the t-88 is deffinetly a nice investment for a 'streetable and competitive drag turbo'. I'll be getting myself a t-88 soon enough..

As far as making 1000HP it has been done on the 2rotor before just need plenty of $$ good tuning and a very nice sized turbo to make it happen. For serious power look into the 20b swap...

Agreed. Lag is a crutch used by the wussies that dont want to get rid of their stock turbos

When I bought my car it had a T62-1 and it now has a T70. I'd never go back!

Someone on this forum put it like this. . .if you have turbo lag you're in the wrong gear! This is very true; if you're going 30 in 4th gear lag will be horrendous. If you're going 30 in second lag will be nonexistent.

People always say lag is an issue with the t78/t88 turbos. I have the t78 on my car and i find lag very minimal. Go for it.
