Got Called Into Emissions In Md
I get my FB through by having it registered as a classic in PA(has to be 15 years old...so FC's are eligible too). You still have to go through inspection, but no emissions. There's a yearly mileage limitation, but if you unplug the odom... See what the time limit is for registering "classic" in MD. Maybe you'll get lucky and it's ten years!
Here is my master plan. Right now I have two FD's to use. My Modded FD (which is haing the motor pulled) just got the emissions notice. I'm going to bring my other 100% stock FD and hope they dont check the vin!
I wish there was an easy way to do it.
I just went onto the mva website and got a free 4 month extension.
My car is low but not sure if its low enough.
I am going to have to install all the stock stuff back on my car to pass and even then I am not sure that my ported motor will pass.
I am not looking forward to putting back on all the exhaust, air pump, egr yada yada..
If not I will fake a recipet showing work done.
Whats tha pay off you are mentioning.

hehe....yeah, I'm not ghetto riggin' my ride so it can't be tested. I'd rather bribe my way out of things.
HEY ERNIE OR DAVE, WHO CAN I BRIBE FOR EMISSIONS????

Have fun trying to find someone to pay off, or spending $450 for a waiver. I'll stick with my $20 "ghetto" method
Well, in MD when you go do emissions you have to go to a big emissions testing station where you sit in line until it's your turn to hop on the rollers and get the car tested. The problem is that I am going to have to have something arranged prior to even getting to the testing station because I think it's going to be tough to approach someone about passing me for money while I'm actually there. I think I'm up the creek man...If I do go for a waiver is it for the life of the car? That would put my mind to rest in the future...
