Well, am I better just going for the payoff right off the bat or should I run the car through emissions and deal with all the crap we gotta do to get one of these to pass. I just got a new egr valve installed but I think the high flow cat isn't gonna be enough to get me through.

What are your experiences?

THANKS!

if you have the air pump working and any cat with no engine porting it should pass.

I failed Maryland Emissions twice in my 1993 RX-7. I had to get a waiver on both occasions. Show them that you spent at least $450 on fixing parts relating to emissions, or luck out because your 7 is lowered too much.

When I failed, I had a fresh rebuild on the stock twins, still had the cat and airpump, and ran the car for about a hlaf hour before testing it. Hopefully you will have better luck than I did.

I was supposed to go by DEC. 5

I still haven't gone. I ordered some coil spring compressors from JC Whitney that I'm gonna put on and lower the **** out of it. If it won't fit on the dyno...they can only do the idle test.

hehe....yeah, I'm not ghetto riggin' my ride so it can't be tested. I'd rather bribe my way out of things.
