Yeah, I was just hoping that someone has already done it. I guess I'll just tear into it and see if I can change it.

yeah just buy colored bulbs, and for the odometer i think thats back lit by led and i think you will have to solder in a new led light..

odometer one i may leave alone just cause it could screw up if your not good at doing that.. but the bulb change thats simple and cheap!

and i prefer just white backlight! blue is cool and all too tho.. but white to me is nice!!

I thought that someone had to know how to do it or at least tryed. Are the bulbs special in any way or can I get them just about anywere?

Yeah I don't think I'll mess with the odometer, its not that big of a deal if thats red.

Thanks

The gauge faces themselves have a layer of amber/red color on them. I took out the gauge faces, and sanded off that portion, so that all of the numbers and dash marks are see through. The stock bulbs are incandescent and give a different light output, and the layer of red before acted as a light diffuser so the light from the white LEDs is uneven. Some have added LEDs in strategic positions to even out the light though. The dials are red though, so if you put a different color LED, it might turn out funny.
