Hello, I recently got into a discussion with some people regarding whether or not the FD had something like a 4ws system (maybe DTSS), I've heard many things such as it either never being a thing or it being a JDM only option or even it being only available on very early FDs, what sparked this was a racing simulator developer adding four wheel steering to the FD on their software, which is a spirit R, can someone more knowledgeable than me clarify this? was this a developer mistake?
He's wrong. The FD never had any type of rear wheel steering. On the contrary, the suspension was designed to minimize flex, employing pillow-ball bushings at several points, including the trailing arm. All other 'cushioned' bushings at the rear were on the toe-link. But they were NOT designed to flex.
