Ok, I'm changing my clutch and was wondering if I should upgrade my flywheel while I was at it. I've heard multible story's about stock is better but I've also seen pics of the stock flywheel flying apart. I just use my car on the weekends but I drive it pretty hard. I guess I'm asking is it worth it to upgrade and if so which one did you go with?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info Sinful7.

My question now is, Do I need an auto tranny counterweight if I get the ACT Streetlite?

I've got the ACT Street/Strip clutch waiting to go in if that makes a difference.

Unfortunatly, i have no experience with the ACT unit, it seems no one else does either. If i had to venture a guess, I would say yes, you need the counterweight. I am under the assumption that it is necessary to dampen output shaft vibration.

Sent ACT an e-mail to make sure. Now I'm just waiting on a reply. I also asked if it came with their flywheel or if it had to be purchased separtly. I'll post their reply soon!
