Hey guys, long time viewer of the forums and driver of a 7. My engine seals blew recently and after seeing the prices from many places around me I decided to undertake the job myself. I know the best thing for me to do is to try to learn to fix the car myself seeing as how there is limited mechanics who will touch the car.

Do you guys know of any books, sites, or advice that will help me on this project?

While I'm in there is there anything you guys can think of that I should do?

Can you recommend a place to buy the seals from?

While only one seal has gone I'm going to replace everything to make sure she’s back in perfect running order. I have to admit I'm a little intimidated by it but I feel more then ready. So thanks again for all your time and I hope to see you guys on the road some day soon.

Do a search for Bruce Turrentines rebuild video... If you can't find that, contact www.rotorsportsracing.com and talk to Brian or Rusty.. they can send you in the right direction.

I also buy all of my seals from rotorsports.

Did you break an apex seal or a coolant seal?

Buy the video and get yourself a copy of the shop manual.

It isnt very hard to do, just BE CAREFUL and take your time with everything.

good luck, you will learn 10000x more actually doing it yourself
