I think I'm willing to give you a chance now 3rotorrocket. You seem a little more sincere than I thought you were a week ago. I would pass on this car, and get one a little cheaper, so you won't be short on cash if something comes up. Yes, that car is beautiful, but small mechanical problems can add up to cost far more than a body kit and paint job. They can be both a blessing and a curse. I love the feel of my car. I love the way it looks. I love the way it sounds. I love the way it feels and smells. But I also continue to run into small things that add up. Coolant leaks, fuel leaks, boost leaks, electrical problems, etc.

Wait on it. I was a little hasty with my purchase and it did kind of catch up with me.

I am with DadealGT on this one man.

Maybe you can buy an FD off of ebay for like 16k and have 4k for reliability and repairs.

Or find a bone stock 5 speed and learn/do all the mods yourself. It's 100% more satisfying. Just make sure you have some cash for "the unexpected".

Or buy a FB and have heaps of money left for mods and those unexpected break downs. It works well for me.

He's listening, holy ****!

Now all you gotta do is read about 1000 pages worth of info....a couple times....or at least figure out how to organise it so you find find the info if you want it.

Good Luck

Hey 4rotor to be truthful I just read this thread to see what stupid crap you would get your self into. BUT after reading it I think you are actually starting to get on the right track. I really have to give you a big thumbs up . Any ways what you really need to do is read all of the 3rd Gen archive on the other forum and visit this site:

http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/buyaused.htm

Read, Read, READ. Dont even think about a hood, body kit or stickers, things like radiators and downpipes are MUCH more important. I say good luck to you and happy rotoring.
