is part number 34-120, bushing that sits on top, necessary with coil overs?
also, just switched my rear coil overs to a set of eibach springs and illuminas. maybe the ride will be a lil more comfortable and less rattly....well see.
martin, the extra springs are eibachs not stock like i thought.
i might have either or for sale soon....

nope. it sits atop the shock rod its easily seen on the fron of cars without coil overs.
its a round metal with a rubber coating about 2" in diameter.
ill try to get a pic when i get home.

[quote name='vosko' date='May 12 2005, 11:24 AM']you don't use that thing for coilovers and for god's sake put those coilovers back on

wut da hell, u asked me why i didnt have them in the front once??
the ride is much better with teh eibachs and illuminas. not night and day different but noticeable. the "landings" are not as abrupt as before. im start looking for lower spring rate springs for the HKSs.
however the clunking is still present, albeit not as loud.

[quote name='vosko' date='May 12 2005, 01:16 PM']i asked becuase i forgot you had coilovers haha
but did you adjust the dampening......the coilovers jay has that were my old ones were much smoother over bumps than my tokico/rb springs

yup, i believe theyre at teh softest setting. however i might be wrong...need to find cause of cluncking sound. i mean i dont mind, except when ppl are like "wow whats that, sounds like your car is falling apart..."
ill put them back on in a month or so and then sell the eibachs. cheap.
