I've noticed lately there is a small amount of oil on the ground under my car i have no clue where its coming from.. IS there anything that i should be checking for to ensure that i don't further damage my car?

You cankeep an eye on your oil consumption but it is not uncommon to be leaking oil out of a Fd.

There is a thread in here that points out the most common leaks.

there was a thread in the 3rd gen archive the other day about what to do when changing oil. someone mentioned replacing the crush washer on the drain plug. i've changed my oil a few times, but never replaced the crush washer. i've also noticed a small leak on the ground while in the garage. maybe that's it?
