regardless martin..

take heed.. dont fall below a quarter tank of gas...

a little precaution goes a long way..
Before I even read the rest of the replies.

Martin I cannot stress enough that Amp and Jay are so right.

I never ever ever boost on anything under 1/4 tank of gas.

I try not to even let it get that low.

..

OK I'll finish reading the rest now

Sounds like what happened to me..

But I completely lost power,

idle stumbled and finally stalled.

and won't restart.. I am like 99% sure its

a blown Motor..

Maybe you didn't complete blow a Apex sealand just cracked

it or something..

** people who blown a Motor **

When it blows does it sound like the exhaust FELL off??

Well the sure fire way to find out is to run a compression test on it.

Clicking--Start checking gaskets first at the engine hehe Weird that the clicking gets louder though, with my little experience as you up your rpms is more requent but not louder

If your doing a mid-pipe and cat-back now? This is a good time to look.

Fuel---1/4 is a good rule

Noisy exhuast hummm sounds werid.. Especially with no power loss

Let us know how it goes..
clicking doesnt get louder..... it becomes more frequent... enventually turning more to a rattling sound

i've blown a motor before.... and def. not the same. car starts up fine... and the idle is perfect.... sits at 700.

i did something creative today, i put my head down on the ground while i was sitting on my seat.... and stepped on the gas...... while i was down there, i saw some hot air jetting out of one spot at the end of the precat.....

and my brother was lookin on the passenger side, and agreed that there was air jetting from around the same area too. the precat and cat are 115k old...... i would check that first.... rather than checking the engine that is 15k old

thanks for all the feedback though..... ill keep you guys posted on how this thing works out
