Fd Blitz Air Intake
#1
Anyone else here have a blitz air intake?
I just got them and tried to install them. Ran into a few problems:
1 - There is a 5th small hose that used to go to the side of the stock air box.
The blitz filters only have connectors for 4 small hoses.
2 - One of the big hoses that feed the primary turbo is too close to one of the
belts driven by the engine and rubs on occassion (when i rev).
Any suggestions on what to do?
I'm still new at this stuff.
thanks

I have the blitz intake as well....
The belt that rubs is the airpump belt when you give the car some gas. Now that I have a torque brace to limit engine movement, it isn't an issue. Before I got that though, I would tie a strap of wire around the lower intake hose and wrap it around the metal clip on the side of the car near the fender-lining (in front of the shock tower). The best thing to do is to is to attach the intake hose so that it is slanted but still secure or just remove the airpump
