:bigok: I've done this before.. you will use the fd counter balencers and e-shaft.. the rotors balence each other.. The heavier rotors will also have more kenetic energy and will actually help you when starting out in first gear and allow you to boost more with out knocking while making a little more power.. Since they are heavier I wouldn't recomend over 8500 rpm due to the chance of flexing the e-shaft and having the tip of the rotor make contact with the plates..

That engine lasted me about 2 years till I ran the A/C on a long drive in traffic at 100'f and lost a water seal..

ps.. you will want to put in new rotor bearings so they can break in to the FD e-shaft...

dragon-

thanks for your info. i might send you a pm, to pick your brain a bit more. since you have first hand experience.

fc rotor bearings won't fit inside an fd ecc driveshaft. they're too small.

rotary speedster 12-04-2002 11:30 PM

will fd bearings fit inside the 88 rotors?

rotary speedster 12-04-2002 11:32 PM

Dragon,

which rotor bearings did you use?

and clarify for me; you used the FD front and rear counter weights and evrything balanced out, correct?
