Yes I have a fd and I bought a F1 Stage 2 clutch and flywheel kit. I installed everything by the book and I went out and took it easy for about 40 miles so then I decided to hit it one time in second and I hit about 6,000 rpms and went to shift to third and the clutch pedal hit the flat and then I heard the wire ring ratteling around it the pressure plate. Then I bought a oem wedge collar and wire ring to make sure I got some good quality parts. Put everything back together and took it out putted around for 30 miles and then tried it again this time the rod feel out and I put it back in now this time again the wire ring has fell off again allowing the throwout bearing to not hold in place. Is it because the tension on the fingers of the pressure plate at high rpms is allowing the wire ring to slip by the finger of the pressure plate??? It's the only thing I could come up with. Thanks for any help

Where did you get the stage 2 clutch and flywheel? Maybe get a hold of the manufacturer who made these that you're experiencing this issue, and see what they have to say first.

eBay cheap *** crap! And I have sent them a email but no word back yet

Good luck man... hopefully no damage was done to either the engine or the tranny from these eBay parts.
