i got my car out of the shop i had it in today and drove it for the first time ever. it drives well to about 3800 rpm but then it start misfiring and popping, jumping back and forth and it backfired once. it doesnt do it at the same rpm all the time i got it to run good up to about 42 maybe 4300 rpm in third gear and it even did it in the 2000 range. rebuilt injectors, test pipe, ground modifications, about 3600 kms on rebuilt motor and turbo. i tested for spark on one plug and got it but should i check all four?how do i check if im getting fuel to all four injectors? it idles fine and even drives good if your light on the pedal and keep your rpms relatively low. then as soon as i pulled into my mechanic friends house i shut it down and it runs for 30 seconds cuz of the apexi turbo timer and shuts down and wouldnt start again for like 2-3 hours so i gave up and wrote this post! i have an error code reader off ebay in the mail i dont know if it will help at all. i really just want this car to run right or im selling it.

i got my car to start today and drive too but its very sluggish in first gear off a stop i have to rev it and ride the clutch to get it going but after that all gears run pretty good. today i wiggled this wire plug on my intake manifold far left side close to the front of the intake i asume its the tps anyways the plug moved inwards alot and my car started to idle way better and ran decent with a lot less popping and misfiring then i sprayed carb cleaner around the motor looking for vacuum leaks and the engine idle didnt change so i started to drive it again and it still didnt launch right but i could drive it alot faster and rev it out with a few minor pops and stumbles every now and then. 100% improvement . i dont know about the bogging in the beggining but it has all the top end in the world. it was my first rotary power experience and i loved it. can the tps cause the bogging or what should i check now?? thanx for all the help

my car runs perfect when its cold but as soon as it warms up it starts the bogging and popping again. when i turn it on it idles at around 2000 is that normal? then when it warms up it slowly goes down to around 450rpm and doesnt run good. can anyone tell me what the wire plug is when your looking at the car from the front on the left side of the intake manifold near the front of the engine its a really loose plug that wiggles loose all the time and the 02 sensor comes out of the wire too and i thinks the wire might be broken inside cuz sometimes if i wiggle it it will run good for a while sometimes it doesnt .

read up on adjusting and setting the TPS.

the car idling at 2k rpm when cold is normal, its part of the accelerated warmup system, it just makes the car reach operating temps quicker.

could it be my BAC thats the broken wire plug i found would this have any effect. i also heard of a mod you can do to make your car think its cold all the time so it adds more fuel with the accelerated warmup program is this true and if so how do i do it.
