Maybe I am blind, but if I look at your pics there is a big whole in your engine bay on the side in front of the strut towers and before the core support "known as front apron". It looks like thy are gone and thus would require drilling out the spot welds.

I don’t mean to be a party pooper but SS lines stretch not as much as rubber but still expand under high pressure and running these for all your brakes will give a mushy brake pedal.

GreyGT-C 05-17-2006 10:50 AM

yeah.... that big hole is where the plastic wheel well liner normally is.

You will not feel a mushy pedal using SS lines thru-out the car either... unless you use the CHEAP **** like Russell's lines. If you used Aeroquip lines and fittings... it'll be fine.

That looks like IBM! Lol, we can have the IBM engine bay thing going on.. I just had my engine bay done up not too long ago for the FC.. FD engines bays look so much different when they are stripped clear!

Looks good though, when is the motor going back in?

Yea I know. This Ice Blue guy needs to lay off the crack pipe. front aprons my ass. They are called wheel well liners donkey and they pop in and pop out with a few screws and rivets. They are solid metal on second gens only. On third gens they are plastic and removable. You are not blind just clueless.

Your all wrong on the brake lines too.

It's been a pain trying to source a good set of used irons. It will cost me close to $600 to have mine lapped down and re-nitride coated. Once I get a decent set of irons to work with I should be able to wrap it up within two weeks.
