quick tip about just putting your battery in the back.

to be nhra legal (aka to race at a track) a kill switch must be easily accesible from outside the vehicle. just consider installing a switch outside your car, then decide.

[quote name='PhoenixDownVII' date='May 26 2005, 09:51 AM']Well, here's my reply:

You can remove Power Steering, A/C.

You can re-locate the battery to the passenger rear bin.

You can replace stock intake box with aftermarket intakes.

Move and relocation IC + Radiator.

Converting to single turbo removes a lot of hoses.

If you do all of the above you'll have a lot more room, which to me not only looks great and makes changing things easier, but also eludes to one of the FD's bragging rights with having an engine pushed down and behind the front axle's. Saweet!

You obviously should and need to research each of those before doing them, but in that you'll find out how it helps.

Haven't seen much drag racing on sanctioned tracks have you?

As far as cleaning up the stuff you have left, going to aftermarket fans lets you dump the fan relays on the pass fenderwell, and if you happen to have sleek lights, you can fit most of the relays/fuses and stuff from the battery area to under the light housing.

meh dont have a random pic like that. but theres not many places to make it "readily accessible" and still look decent.
