Do any of you people know how big the door speakers in a bose (if it matters) FD?

the passanger side sounds blown, and I would like to replace it.



Also- how do i get the speaker grill off? i tried pulling it up and it made it look like I have to remove the whole interior door peice.

The door speaker size is all kinds of messed up because it is the enclosure for the bose system. I had a set of 4" rockfords layin around so I put them in. The bose enclosure uses a 3 screw plate to hold the speaker insted of a 2 or 4 screw. I had to drill an extra hole into the enclosure to make the speaker stay in place and just filled in around it with dynomat. Sounds pretty good. And yes you do have to pull the door pannel off for the speaker grill. Hope this helps.
