I was looking through the intructions that came with my Pettit rebuild, and they say that if you run over 12psi of boost, you need to start mixing racing fuel with you regular tank of premium. I have BNR stage 3's and they came set for 13psi so is this like a must do thing or not? Just wondering because I've never heard anyone talk about that at this boost level before.

How are turbos 'set for' any boost level?

internal actuator is probably set at 13 psi....can't lower boost then.

I don't know...it sounds like you've answered your own question. If Petitt says to do that, and you can't lower boost to less than 13 psi, then you should do it, at least until any warranty ends.

I highly doubt 1 psi will be the difference between running 93 octane and 93 + race fuel. Maybe 10 psi difference, but certainly not 1 psi.

Agreed, though for 10 psi more, he better have alot more than just race fuel. But since it's a new rebuild, I assumed he had a warranty. I just didn't want him to jeporadize it.

You would not need to run race fuel. Premium fuel will be fine. I would contact Petit, however, and get authorization in writing just to make sure that if you have engine problems (running premium only), they will be covered.
