HI.

Just wondering, the 13b-re.. this engine have some kind of air flow mesuring device, right ? And if I want the stock ecu to work, I must have one, ?

If I change the ecu to aftermarket, I dont have to use the airflow thing ?

Yes i'm going to go out on a limb here and say yes its going to have an air flow 'thing'.

Any vehicle is oging to need to measure how much air is being pushed through the system at any given time in order to run correctly, so to sum it up yes you'll need one reguardless of aftermarket or not. At least with the REW I know some crazy kids out there run without MAF's on eclipses and what not but causes hella problems (above mentioned needing to measure air).

Yea Its called a map sensor. If you want to EVER start your motor, you'll need a map sensor or it will run like complete garbage. Do you need one? I have one I can sell you for like 20 bucks. It hooks up on the firewall and runs to the TB to a little nipple on there with a vacc line. Let me know if you need it , shoot me a PM
