Hmmm... These are all very good points. Nothing is WRONG with either of my units... Just gotta get the A/C recharged... I guess I'll keep it on while everything is still in good shape.

Question: I should reassemble the engine (Manifolds, A/C, P/S pump... All that good ****) OUT of the car, right?

Ok. Thanks! Are all the remaning connectors accessable from the engine when it comes time to hook them back up?

easiest way is to assemble the turbos/manifold onto the engine, but leave the accessories in the car. If you have working A/C, then you wouldn't want to discharge the freon. Same for the P/S.

my approach is the opposite of twinturborx7pete's

I say remove everything you can bring yourself to consider without thinking twice.

then think about it before you put it back in.

just keep in mind anything you do to your car is not the end of the world, if you want to give it a try, go for it... you can always go back or try something entirely different.

thing is.. the PS and A/C stay in the car when you pull the engine out.. and take all of about 15 min to put back on the engine.

Well, yeah... But I took it ALL out. Wanted to do some SERIOUS spring cleaning... Now I don't even know if I feel like putting it back in... So...... yeah...

But if I put it all back on the engine before putting it back in... It'll go in with out too much force right?
