i am not small nor weak. it is pointless to take out the powersteering. the car handles awkward. keep in mind have 17's....

well i live in FL and it gets hot and humid here.. A/C is a must. Powersteering is a must too, i have driven it with and without, and with my 17s, it sucks without powersteering.. the stock powersteering gives really good feedback as it is.. or the RX-7 would have never won all those contests and awards.. think about it before you remove ****.

depends on your application.... autox..drag..etc..

id keep the power steering.. remove the ac

weary of suggestions to remove ps for the sake of just doin it without purpose...

failure of the rack is a possibilty with the loss coolin and recirc.....

Oh the infamous debate. Before I begin, I live in a subtropical environment...60 degrees F at night during the WINTER...so it get F****** hot here... I miss the A/C the most, but have learned to stick my hand out the window for cool air :P

P/S...well, I sure as **** don't drift anymore. If you don't auto cross or drift, then you don't need P/S unless your not strong or ...well, I'm not going to call you a girlie man. Either way, it reminds me of the movie, "The 13th Warrior"... when the Norseman says to Antonio Banderas, "Grow stronger."....I can go around most turns with one hand on the steering wheel now, but before, it was a pita.

Pulling both of them is awesome if you are they type to do 90% or more of your own car work. Changing spark plugs is cake now. Engine bay looks CLEAN. Less **** that I have to worry about when I pull my engine. BIG ARMS that the women dig(even the ones that aren't my wife)

Also, I have 235/45 R 17's on the front...

i say remove it. i live in mississippi, and we have some of the hottest and most humid weather here. no doubt. i got rid of my ac when i focked up a couple of the lines, and i miss it only when my girl and i go somewhere in the summer time.......other than that, i dont care for it. it really does not bog the car though, because it, like the air pump, is clutch driven and is non working at somewhere around 4500rpm under heavy throttle.....

i am going to remove my PS before the end of the summer.....the simpler the better.........how about a carburetor?

we used to race up and down the mountains a lot, and i took the belt off of mine and i found that you spend too much time/effort yanking the wheel around than driving a good line. with the ps you can focus on a good line, i found i was faster that way. we also noticed on genes car with big tires (275 17's) that if you hit a bump in a turn it would litterally yank the wheel out of your hands with no ps, you had to watch your thumbs
