I know that most people will wonder why in the hell I want cruise on the R1. It's simple, I drive 500 miles every other weekend. I like to relax. Anyway, I bought a factory cruise system out of another rx7. I installed the computer, the buttons on the dash and steering wheel, and installed the unit under the hood. I took it to a dealer and they can't figure out why it's not working. Somebody said they thought the models that came with cruise had an additional light on the tach. Is this true? Maybe it sends a signal to the computer to come on? Any suggestions?

yah the tach on cars equipped with cruise have a green light that signify when it is on.. but i don't see how that would hinder it from working. All it is, is another cable that holds the throttle in the same position.
