Here is what I have. Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors, new Mazda brake pads, new braided brake lines from rx7.com and stock rebuilt calipers with only about 500 miles on them. They had been sitting in my garage for 8 months.

Can anyone tell me why I can be driving at highway speeds, never touch the brake pedal and the car start to slow? Then I can tap the brakes a few times and it will release. When I do tap them, the pedal feels like it's been pumped up.

I've lifted my car a few times to see which wheels were dragging and the two front wouldn't turn by hand and the rear was difficult the turn. Other times I can check and the wheel turn more freely.

Thanks!

it could be a few things, caliper bushings causing them to stick. the master cylinder is sticking, or possibly the rod from the brake pedal to the master cylinder is mis-adjusted and has pressur eon it all the time

You say at highway speed, are we talking 60-70 mph or 45-60. Alo when you do this brake tap are there rpm fluctuations in the engine? It sound to me like you have a power brake booster problem. during decel your engine goes into a high vacuum, more than when you are at idle, your brake booster uses vacuum to assist in moving your master cylinder rod into the master cylinder. If your brake booster is sticking you may be pulling the rod in farther during the decel high vacuum. I don't know what mods are done to your car or if you have replaced anything as far as the brake hoses are concerend
