Any suggestions? I can probably pay around 400 a month; I know that wont get me much around here, but I guess the earlier I start looking around, the better...plus moving my possessions will be fun in my FD

Hey Dude,
I would suggest that you look for a house and not a condo...Condos are great but they rape you on the condo dues (and neighbours can be a bitch when you are revving your motor at 3 in the morning)...So you have your mortgage PLUS your condo dues....Which usually is 150 all the way up to 240 a month...Right now I am paying about 620 a month for my place and 170 of that goes toward condo fees. I could have gotten into more house for the money i am spending. So it's a toss up. You get a bigger house but you have yard work and exterior maintenance you have to take care of....Or you get a cond and pay condo dues BUT they take care of the structure of your place AND all extrior maintenance.
You should check out a realtor...They have a great thing where you just give them the amount you want to pend and then they send a list of places to your email everyday. You can see photos and price on each place and they also give you addresses so you can go check out the physical location.
If you are interested I will give you the name and number to a couple of realtors I worked with when buying my place.

Yeah, that would be nice...I was talking to the one that got my dad into his house, and RIGHT after my Dad died this ****** starts trying to close me on a sale...i was like WTF, bitched him out for thinking about the dollar in a time like this, and swore I'd never go to him again. His name was Mike Polsgrove. Thanks for the advice Dave, I had no idea about those dues. I think Krystal and I will be buying a house soon, so basically I can afford to almost double that figure of 420 a month with her income included. Just kinda terrified with all the "what ifs" about buying a house with someone.

My mortage is 650 a month. You've never been to my place, but it has a 2 car garage (3 if you own mini's), 3 bed with a small bonus room over the garage, and 2 baths. I don't even know how I lived in apartments before this place. I can give you my realitors info if you want it, he is someone I worked with. http://www.cbtulsa.com/ Good site for looking up places, but their estimated payments are lower because they leave off pmi and other tax stuff.

Did I say pmi I meant pms. Beats me, I just remember some pmi type lingo that is added to the final mortgage price, along with insurance and taxes, ect..... That site will leave out those cost and make the mortgage appear lower. I had an awsome mortgage calculator but seem to of lost it now.

okay, i found out what was wrong...the connection from the hardline to the rubber hose was fucked up, the last person who did the breaks did a half *** job and turning the wheel lock to lock causes it to open up slightly, open plus pressing brake=spraying brake fluid.

Okay, the problem was a crack in the coupler...how I got it i dont know..took it to my guy, he put my lines, rotors, and new pads on....drove it home last night and had to pump the brakes everytime I needed to stop. Got on the highway and the car started vibrating BAD. Got off at the next exit. Limped her home and took her to Hibdons first thing today, they show me my brand new rotor on the front passenger side (same side that was leaking fluid) warped to ****...they said its either the hub thats fucked, or the rotor, or both. How, in 18 miles of driving, could one **** up a car like that? I was going no faster than 35, except when I got up to 50 on the highway for about 1 mile. They showed me where the pad was making uneven contact to the rotor, and that was why I had vibration... so now I ask these questions of you all-
1. How could this happen? I"m looking for any possible causes. My mechanic is trying to blame this on me, saying there was any amount of "unseen damages" after I noticed the line was leaking...well, after I discovered it was leaking, the car sat. Sat for days, until I could make the arrangements to have it towed. The car wasnt driven much more than a mile before it was discovered that the line was leaking. I'm ruling out the theory that I messed up the hub, spindle, and rotor with "unseen damages," doesnt seem to make sense.
2. Worst case scenario, what would a quality used hub/spindle cost? If, in fact, its only the rotor thats warped, I can have that replaced by warranty, but what should I expect to pay for that assembly? And do any of you have a spare set I could buy off you?
3. When will fate stop ******* with me? that one's just rhetorical.
