I mounted this up today. Soildered the power and ground wires up, but after getting into it further I still am not positive which set of wires out of the crain go to the ignitor side.

I have two pairs of wires coming out of the crain.

Its one of the two and the other will connect to the coil side.

Just wish I could find someone who could tell me which color wires go the ignitor side.

The directions above are vague on that pretty important detail

BUt set the unit to run on 4 cylinder mode. You will get better performance

I have looked at the how to on fc3s.org.

Its not the same unfortunately.

Care to elaborate and give me some info about setting it on 4cylinder mode? Why would I see better "performance" And what better "performance" will i expect to see?

How would that be done anyway, The only adjustments on the unit are for the rev limiter...

Thanks for any info

Derrhhh.

Sometimes my stupidity surprises even me.

It is just as it shows on Fc3s.org. I even pointed that out in my first point.

The red and white wires attch to the ignitor and the orange and black wires go to the coil.

Anyway, Cheers I would still like to hear your words about the 4cylinder option.

??? by feel? i oringinally wired it up as 8 cylinder mode. Then someone told me about 4 cylinder mode and i ahve it a shot. I knew rotaries work like 4 cylinder engines. I think it has to do with how often the crane box discharges a spark.

I think the blue wire gets switched 12V. I can't remember exactly. REad the instructions

I'll look at the directions again and see what it says about that.
