I've determined that I have a small coolant seal leak.

The engine has never overheated so I don't believe there is any warping of the engine housing.

Before jumping in with the usual fix of rebuilding the engine, I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has used the o-ring fix described here:

It is the use of CRC Block Weld.

If so, did it work and how long has it lasted?

it's 50/50 if it will work. I used something similar in my car, the engine lasted another year before it finally erupted like a volcano!

If you have an aluminum radiator and/or are using Eveans coolant then you can only use "alumaseal". The copper stuff and other products can damage other parts, such as heater core and water pump (as posted on other forum).

Flush the engine several times with water and the seal will work.

However dont expect the 'bandaid' to last too long with hard driving.

Yeah some have luck with it and some don't. Only problem is that it can gum up the entire cooling system.
