two things, rotarys in general are reliable as the previous generations would commonly go over 150k w/ no issues. however w/ the turbo i agree w/everyone on the thread, you are at a gamble w/ that many miles but could go for a year or two w/o issues.



BTW the dealer is right if you have a clogged cat, you have lost of power at higher revs and some rough idle. if it is a pre cat save the trouble and cost and get a downpipe and some HP w/ it.



But i have to agree $12K is a bit much for know problems.
