Clutch Discs
Whats the different characteristics of a 4 puck and a 6 puck.
I uderstand the spring loaded is better for street since engagment is smoothed out some by the springs.
Does 6 points engage faster than a 4 point?
Could some one point it out for me?

Well, it worked great for me. When it is cold it slips so it is good for the street and when you heat it up it grips like a son of the gun. Puck style clutchs tend to break stuff. Kinda like how vosko went thru so many driveline parts.
Yea but what were you uning the mcleod disc in?
I know you didnt have it in your old rx7.
You sold that with an ACT, I helped you do the mod list so I remeber.
So i am assuming you had it in you rx8.
That would be a big difference.
Not that I am against it but If I had $350 for a disc Wouldnt you be mad if you werent getting it?
I can get a 4 puck spring loaded from Ito for $140.
I just wanna get an idea of what to expect from that particular disc.
