Clicking Noise

If any one can help I would appreciate it. The other day while pushing through the gears at WOT I heard this strange clicking type noise in third and the RPMs stopped on each click. It clicked twice and I let off the throttle. It has happened once before, same situation but it happened in second gear. I don't know if it matters but I think it happened between 3 and 5 thousand RPMs.

I have no Idea, but I can say when I broke my differential at the track when I tried to accelerate I heard "Click...Click...Click".

Prey its not your differential.
