Most of the ones I see appear to be sealed... You'd wan't a way to release pressure correct? Anybody have a good pic or schematic of how they should work?

Actually a lot of the ones I see, they have a cap, or someway to get the oil out.
I dont really see too much need on a rotary, but thats just my opinion. They sure do look nice though |
usually they have a drain at the bottom, maybe you can't see it in the pics you are looking at

Yeah... I know they can be emptied... But many of them look like pressure would build up in them... Is there a vent or something?
I've heard a million times that the PCV line running to the UIM will (Or can) cause smoke. (Which makes sense) I was going to vent it with a filter, but I figured a catch can could work too... But I want to make sure I'm not friggin building up crankcase pressure and causing leaks everywhere.. Please advise. 9BASE3 out. |
What about something like this. It has a filter as well as a drain ****.http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/Pro...463&prmenbr=361.

Use a catch can with a filter/breather on the top.
Chris Reagan has a write-up on his site on how to do just this. |
