My RX will sometimes stutter or shut off some times. I have changed my spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, fuel pump and O2 sensor and still my car is acting funny. Sometimes I will be driving, and the car all of a sudden will stop accelerating. It's as if the car is lossing it's compression. Could it be that the fuel cat is going bad in my ECU? Before I buy a Power FC I want to make sure that it's going to fix the problem. What do you think?

 

Is this a North American Car (LHD) or RHD? Modifications? Have you ever gotten, or do you currently have a Check Engine Light? Is this a 5-speed or auto?

Given info above, ECU wouldn't be first on my list.

 

It a Japan Spec 5 speed, No check engine light. Could it be the Map sensor!?
